Skill analysis
Sneak
Targets the last Monster on the enemy Team instead of the first Monster.

If the last Monster on the enemy team has Camouflage, this will target the second to last Monster instead.
Double Strike
Monster attacks twice each round.
Poison
Attacks have a chance to apply poison, which does automatic damage to the target at the beginning of each round after the poison is applied.

The Poison ability is triggered 50% of the time. Poison does damage at the end of the turn and is not affected by shield or void.

Ruleset analysis
Good rulesets for Silvershield Assassin
Multiple attacks helps Silvershield Assassin get through Divine Shields in the 'Holy Protection' ruleset.
Silvershield Assassin has a bit of armor (maxes at 2), helping it survive at least one hit (even if it's Magic) in the 'Weak Magic' ruleset.
Since there are no Magic attackers in the 'Lost Magic' ruleset, it makes debuffs affecting Melee monsters (Demoralize) or Ranged monsters (Headwinds) more valuable
Silvershield Assassin has Double Strike, making it useful in the 'Up Close & Personal' ruleset.
Melee cards with Sneak, Opportunity, or Reach help you minimize the amount of Scattershot you have and thus control where you are firing in the 'Aimless' ruleset.
Bad rulesets for Silvershield Assassin
In the 'Thorns' ruleset, it's better for Melee monsters not to continuously strike their targets so abilities like Double Strike and Retaliate are not recommended (unless they have Reflection Shield).
In 'Fog of War', melee cards lose their ability to do Sneak and Opportunity attacks, making Silvershield Assassin need to be in the first position to attack.
Ineligible rulesets for Silvershield Assassin
Silvershield Assassin costs 7 mana to cast, so it can't be used in 'Little League'.
Silvershield Assassin has melee damage, so it cannot be played in the 'Keep Your Distance' ruleset.
Silvershield Assassin has an odd mana cost, so it can't be used in 'Even Stevens'.
Silvershield Assassin has no magic damage, so it cannot be played in the 'Wands Out' ruleset.
Silvershield Assassin has no ranged damage, so it cannot be played in the 'Going the Distance' ruleset.
