Cards who are fast or have dodging abilities (Dodge, Flying, Phase) lose their advantage in the 'Aim True' ruleset.
In the 'Thorns' ruleset, it's better for Melee monsters not to continuously strike their targets so abilities like Double Strike and Retaliate are not recommended (unless they have Reflection Shield).
Serpent of the Flame has piercing, which gives it an advantage against armored units, but no advantage against armorless units.
